Hello everyone. How's everyone in DA doing? It's that time of year again for all of us. Yep, tomorrow is July 4th and you know what that means? It's time to prepare for any BBQ, activities and fireworks. What are you guys going to do for tomorrow's great holiday? My sister and my brother-in-law are inviting me with them to celebrate at Morrison Park. I have my camcorder charging via outlet to have it ready to shoot fantastic fireworks and great times at the park. This is going to be fun. Although I wish I had my SLR camera to shoot stunning fireworks. Wherever my camera is, it will never come back. Probably the thief might have sold it to another contact and/or might have pawned. I am still disappointed about it. But I do have great news though. Read below to the next section about the news I'll bring up.


Yep, you guessed it. My uncle is now officially going to give me the Canon 20D.
Ever since he heard about my camera being stolen, he decided to pass the Canon 20D onto me. He was supposed to give the 20D to his son (my cousin, of course), but he didn't want it. My cousin bought himself a Canon EOS Rebel XS. My uncle told me he is packing the camera and all the essentials and ship it out today (if not, Monday). I am just so happy that an SLR camera will make me happy again. Seriously, I missed my camera so much since it was stolen. I couldn't take any pictures and I missed opportunities of taking great pictures at events over the past few days. Before the camera gets here, I need to buy a tripod, a UV filter lens and a infrared filter. I might even buy a 75-300mm IS lens (really need one bad).
